When my father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, I became motivated to find a cure for this nasty condition. Anyone who has experienced losing someone to a neurodegenerative disease knows just how painful and upsetting it is. To this day, I am totally committed to helping people tackle the issue, and to prevent these diseases.
A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Dave Jenkins, a renegade doctor, at a biohacking event in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He introduced me to the Bredesen Protocol.
One particular study of this protocol showed unprecedented results for Alzheimer’s patients (Bredesen, 2014). The study was led by Dr Dale Bredesen himself, who believes that a treatment plan involving lifestyle changes rather than medication is the solution to Alzheimer’s Disease.
The Bredesen protocol is highly personalised to each individual, and specialises in reversing Alzheimer’s Disease. It is a highly tailored protocol, which is facilitated by trained and qualified medical professionals. The costs for this protocol are quite high as a result. Here is what the Protocol advises:
- A diet that eliminates processed foods and other unhealthy ingredients, and boosts fruits, vegetables and healthy fish
- Eight hours of sleep a night
- At least 30 minutes of exercise four to six times a week
- Very good oral hygiene
- Improvement of gut health with probiotics and prebiotics
- Fasting for 12 hours between dinner and breakfast, and three hours or more between dinner and bedtime, to keep insulin levels healthy.
- Stress reduction and brain stimulation techniques including meditation, yoga, music, and other means.
The first thing I noticed about this Protocol is just how similar it is to the methods I used to cure myself from Ulcerative Colitis. This realisation further reinforced by belief that the root cause of most chronic disease is the same: stress that leads to inflammation, inflammation that leads to the degeneration of cells in the body.
My own protocol is designed for stress-related conditions like autoimmune diseases, heart disease, and diabetes. It is a fraction of the cost of the Bredesen Protocol and can be accessed by anyone, any time, 24 hours a day, no matter where you are in the world - it’s all online.
What I especially love about the Bredesen Protocol is that it prescribes the use of brainwave technology, meditation, Yoga, and more. I am a very strong advocate for these techniques as they were absolutely fundamental in my healing process and they formed the foundation for SOMA Breath.
SOMA Breath is powered by Trypnaural brainwave technology, which is a highly accessible way to exercise your mind and your body. Just sit back, relax, and let the music guide you through simple yet powerful breathing techniques.
